What's new? (I just made a bunch of changes)

For new readers, welcome. For those who have been coming around for few years (and care about the changes) allow me to briefly explain them.

• I revamped the bio and added a page that (re)introduces new and casual readers to the people (and dogs and cats) who frequent this site
  

• I got rid of the blogroll - when it comes to websites, I believe less is more. This is doubly true for blogs, no one is coming here for links to The New York Times or The Onion; they're coming here for stories about Emmett's flatulence - to believe otherwise is delusional.

• I'll still refer to my favorite blogs in posts which will generate more traffic than will a blog-roll, anyway (who looks at blogrolls?)

Do you have any questions?

• No more records? Nah, same reasoning as the blogroll - I'll try to do weekly music write-ups (what I'm listening to) with a podcast.

• No more photo albums? I kept 5th street legislating body but ditched the others - look out for the ETD Flickr page coming this fall

• Are Jake and Holly still bastards? Yes

• You look awfully earnest in that picture - are you taking yourself seriously, now? Yes. I am earnest.

• Is that how much hair you currently have? Yep

• Liar, that picture is like 3 years old. Do you have anymore fucking questions?

• I can't really see anything else different, I mean, aside from the look; what else did you change? The tagging, and I got rid of "recent posts"

• Very interesting, no seriously....zzzzz. Jerk.
